Las Rageous Comes to Las Vegas // 4.21.17 & 4.22.17

In the world of summer festivals there are many and Las Vegas is throwing themselves into the mix with the inaugural Las Rageous event.  This two day festival is anticipated to become an annual event which seems like a great idea. In terms of destinations for a festival Las Vegas ranks right up there in popularity and it is set at the perfect time of year.  Add to that fact it is taking place at the new Downtown Events Center, the premier concert location for downtown Las Vegas located adjacent to the famous Fremont Street Experience this is a unique backdrop for an event like this and it is certain to provide plenty of entertainment for concert goers when the music isn’t going.

For this inaugural show Las Rageous went big with the lineup consisting of hard rock and heavy metal powerhouses from across the genres.  There is thrash, metalcore and straight up heavy metal and rock. Day ones bands include The Devil Wears Prada, Of Mice & Men, Killswitch Engage, Anthrax, Coheed and Cambria with Godsmack headlining.  Night two has equally as strong a lineup with Escape the Fate, All That Remains, Eagles of Death Metal, Mastodon, Breaking Benjamin and Avenged Sevenfold closing out the final night.  Las Vegas has been waiting for a rock/metal festival, there have been some tried in the past, but they were at venues that didn’t really function as well as this one for large scale events.  This time it looks to be a huge success.  Rounding out the festival will be a food truck village and freak show performers.

For such a lineup you would expect this to be an expensive ticket, that is not the case.  Two day passes are currently going for $129 with some VIP packages still available and just announced one day passes for $79.  With rooms still available on Fremont Street do yourself the favor and go to both days.  This is a show you don’t want to miss!
