Festival Preview: The Vans Warped Tour ’17

Summer is right around the corner and we all know what that means: The Vans Warped Tour is set to take-off. Coming off a successful 2016, the Vans Warped Tour – sponsored by Journeys – is set to take a plethora of cities by storm. With a line-up sure to open some eyes and drop some jaws, the festival aims for the ambitious task to outdo their 2016 version.

Last year’s line-up included serious heavy-weights the likes of Falling in Reverse, Sum 41, Yellowcard, Waka Flocka Flame and Good Charlotte. One might presume that it’d be a fool’s task for the festival organizers to attempt to outdo themselves this year. And yet, they have.

This year’s line-up packs a serious punch with some kick-ass bands of the past and present to create a rock oasis that any devoted fan must bear witness to. Headlined by notorious bands like GWAR, Beartooth, Bowling for Soup and Silverstein, The Vans Warped Tour is set to unleash presentations by numerous exciting bands by way of Anti-Flag, Watsky, Plain White T’s, Memphis May Fire and Dance Gavin Dance among several more well-known acts. Joining in on the fun are up and comers like Fire From the Gods and Bad Seed Rising, which are out to become more of a household name.

Now, we’re not going to tell you that this a must-see festival, because, quite frankly, it should be obvious. If there was ever a time to call in sick to work, this is it. Don’t miss out on the fun, the fans, the food, the booze and, of course, the rock!
