WEEKEND FILM TRAILER ROUND-UP – 6/22/2015 MOVIES/TV by MonkeyGoose - June 22, 2015June 26, 2015 Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, Trainwreck, and Magic Mike XXL These three trailers caught our attention this past week. Check ’em out below. Me and Earl and the Dying Girl High schooler Greg, who spends most of his time making parodies of classic movies with his co-worker Earl, finds his outlook forever altered after befriending a classmate who has just been diagnosed with cancer. – IMDb.com Our thoughts: The film just screams “touching.” With a slow start to the trailer, we got wrapped up in it pretty quickly as it went along. There will probably be tears. Plus, Jon Bernthal. Yes, we will most likely be seeing this one. Release date: June 12, 2015 Trainwreck Having thought that monogamy was never possible, a commitment-phobic career woman may have to face her fears when she meets a good guy. – IMDb.com Our thoughts: We’re kind of late to the Amy Schumer party, but man, is she adorable! Add to that, a more serious looking role for the equally delightful Bill Hader, and you’ve got one charmer of a modern day romantic comedy. We’re on board. Release date: July 17, 2015 And finally… the soon to be released film that’s making panties drop…. Magic Mike XXL Three years after Mike bowed out of the stripper life at the top of his game, he and the remaining Kings of Tampa hit the road to Myrtle Beach to put on one last blow-out performance. – IMDb.com Our thoughts: This movie looks ridiculous. We love it. Release date: July 1, 2015
