Every summer, a variety of artists travel the country to perform at Vans Warped Tour. This year, they had bands like Pvris, Black Veil Brides, August Burns Red, We Came As Romans, Metro Station, and more! I attended the festival that took place in West Palm Beach, Florida where the artists performed at the Coral Sky Amphitheater at the South Florida Fairgrounds. The location was perfect; they had numerous stages placed across the venue and the parking lot which gave the musicians enough space to perform without the concern of being too loud for the next stage over.
This was my third time attending a Vans Warped Tour music festival, and it is exciting every time. The tour is mostly for punk, rock, and alternative music, but there’s always a wide variety of bands of different genres that perform. With all the stages, some bands are scheduled to perform at the same time as other bands. Because of that, it was impossible to see every band perform, but I left very happy with seeing the bands I got the chance to see.
The bands kept their fans engaged. Every stage had not a single person standing still in the crowd. People were jumping around, running into mosh pits, crowd surfing, and singing along to the songs which made for an amazing concert atmosphere.
The festival as a whole was unforgettable! It’s a great feeling being surrounded by people that enjoyed the same music that I do and by performers who love what they do. I would definitely keep going back to Vans Warped Tour and recommend it to all fans of music.
