TEMPE, AZ — Circa Survive are currently on tour celebrating the 10th anniversary of their first album, Juturna. Their set started with a bang and the momentum only continued. Whether the songs were energetic or mellow, frontman Anthony Green sung to the crowd with much passion, and it was reciprocated throughout the night.
There were at least five people that crowd surfed into the photo pit and were able to get as close as they could to the lead singer. One passionate woman in particular was actually able to make it to the stage and Anthony reached over and touched her hand. The look on her face was indescribable. I can only imagine what it would feel like to be able to get that close to someone I admired so much.
It was quite a night to be in the room if you were a diehard Circa Survive fan, and it seemed as if everyone there was. This wasn’t just a concert for them. It was an intimate experience like none other.
