A Nor’easter could not stop the music (well most of it). On a very rainy Saturday in Camden, NJ, local radio station 104.5 held the first of a two-day celebration to mark the station’s ten-year anniversary. The storm did prevent the outside stage from opening which cancelled artists like Chapel, Pale Waves, Tie Shi, Cloves and The Unlikely Candidates from performing.
However, the main stage area was packed along with additional brave souls taking to the lawn section to witness an impressive lineup. PHNTMS, a Philadelphia band kicked things off the event with a high energy set list. Followed by, Rag’n’Bone Man delivering a soulful mix of Hip Hop with a throwback ’60-70’s vibe.
In support of their new release with the self-titled name, Fitz and the Tantrums used every inch of the stage dancing in unison, Fitz and Noelle Scaggs tore up the stage making everyone’s “Hands Clap.” Marty Healy of The 1975 kept the audience mesmerized as he moved across the stage with a mashed up style of David Byrne meets James Brown.
As the alien dancers appeared on the stage, a headdress cut through the fog. Empire of the Sun started a musical journey for the senses. Lead by the multi-talented Luke Steele, the show was totally entertaining, a true one of a kind performance. Bastille led by Dan Smith had the crowd jumping throughout the high-energy performance. Closing the evening, Kings of Leon performed their well-known hits Use Somebody, and Sex on Fire, as well as selections off their new release WALLS.

Hi Bob, we celebrated my sons 10th Birthday at the radio 104.5 10th bday show. Bastille is his favorite band, so naturally we were there for them. During there performance my son was up on shoulders in the pit; he was wearing a bright yellow shirt that said "it's my 10th Birthday too" with the Bastille logo on it. At the end of Pompeii my son was up on the big screen. I don't know if you get requests like this often but If you happen to have any pictures that he is in I would greatly appreciate if you wouldn't mind sending them to me. I am trying to put together a big memory box for him with videos, pictures, and things from the show (i.e. Our ticket stubs and pit bracelets). So again, if you have any and could send them my way that would be amazing.
Thank you in advance!
