Knuckle Puck // Live @ House of Independence // 11.9.17 CONCERT REVIEWS FEATURED MUSIC by Sam Tucker - November 11, 2017December 8, 2017 Article and Photos by: Sam Tucker Asbury Park, NJ — A solid lineup rocked the roof at the House of Independence this past Thursday. HomeSafe opened up the show with a familiar face that the audience would see later on in the night. This rock band brought immediate energy as lead singer, Ryan Rumchaks, used his iconic long hair to do a lot of headbanging and hair flips. They set the mood for the night that certainly only got better. With Confidence hit the stage, opening up with their famous lyrics, “I remember the first night that she said, ‘Oh maybe I can do this on my own!'” The crowd didn’t miss a beat and sang along with the catchy song Voldemort. This pop punk band rocked out using every part of the stage and made sure to have a lot of crowd interaction. Movements upped the crowd interaction and made an instant impact. Crowd surfers got up and going as soon as the lights went on. This band mixedup the sound of the night with some interesting post-hardcore/emo music. In an oddly rocker poetic mood, the crowd surfers kept surfing to the front to sing right in the fron with lead singer, Patrick Miranda. They were promoting their latest album “Feel Something“. Finally, the epic lineup lead to the explosive set from Knuckle Puck. The house was packed and everyone was moving to their poppy sound. Their explosive album “Shapeshifter” roared among the crowd throughout their set. That fimilar face of Ryan Rumchaks from HomeSafe came back as he is a member of this band too. The crowd went crazy, crowd surfing, diving off stage, and doing front flips into the sea of fans that never stopped moving during the whole set. They are continuing their US tour without With Confidence for reasons and then will hit the road again visiting Australia and Japan soon.
