Detroit rockers Bison Machine are set to release their full-length album “Seas Of Titan” via Small Stone Records on September 27th, 2019. Bison Machine labels themselves “Heavy Rock, Stoner, Blues Rock, 70’s” and I would agree completely with that description.
My first impression of the album was a ’70s rock feel with a taste of Black Sabbath meets Ghost. While the riffs scream ’70s, the overall vibe of this album is just a good ol’ rock band. There are definitely some jam band influences involved in the bridges. I can imagine that the occasional grooves in the breaks would most definitely create some pretty fun mosh pits. The melodic vocals laid down by Tom Stec bring the sound to a complete package. The album cover art is amazing. It was created by Alan Forbes, who has created many iconic pieces including work for The Black Crowes, Ghost, Queens of the Stone Age and more.
“Seas Of Titan” is a refreshing sound much needed in today’s musical world and I can’t wait to add it to my playlist.
Keep up with Bison Machine on their Facebook and order their full-length debut “Seas Of Titan” in a few different format option such as digital, CD and vinyl right on the labels Bandcamp page where you can also hear their debut single “The Tower”.
