Somerville, MA – Royal Teeth is what you get when you combine 80’s vibes with a modern electronic sound. Add in a little folk music and you get the kind of catchy tunes that stick in your head for weeks. The band fell silent for the past few years before launching back into the scene last year with the release of their new single “Never Gonna Quit,” reigniting hope of new music to follow. We’ve lucked out, as 2019 yields both a new album and tour.

The band’s new music is a departure from their old, heavier, amped up electronics. It still retains the catchy pop vibe underneath it all and is a perfect addition to their catalogue. There’s an incredible energy not only to the music but their stage performance. Lead singers Nora Patterson and Gary Larsen have a special chemistry as they dance and sing, her hair bouncing as they skate across the stage. They loved sharing their enthusiasm with the crowd, turning classic “Mais La” into a repeat after me singalong. The fun continues with their classic “Wild,” coming down off the stage with a drum set in the middle of the audience.

The tour continues through the fall, be sure to check them out!
