York, PA — Tedeschi Trucks Band has it all: blues, soul, a bit of funk, and a front-woman with a voice that will ascend you to the heavens. Strolling into the Appell Center for the Performing Arts the husband and wife team kicked off the night with “Guilded Splinters,” followed up by the crowd pleasing “Made up My Mind.”
The sold out crowd erupted with a thunderous cheer when the band broke into “Bell Bottom Blues,” and “Keep on Growing”, amazing renditions of Derek and the Dominoes. The way the band communicates with each other with a simple look or subtle movement makes the music flow like a river. The songs ebb and flow across the beautiful theater as if the notes were painting the room. Thanks to Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi, blues and soul will be alive for a long time to come. This fireside tour is one not to miss!
