Tesla // Live @ Sound Board // 3.6.24

Tesla have been rocking and rolling around the world since the early eighties and aren’t showing any signs of slowing down anytime soon. Even with some members leaving and the band breaking up for a few years in the mid 90’s.

They are currently out on their Keepin’ It Real Tour which kicked off in January and runs through July. Joining them on the road is musician/actor Kurt Deimer.

Kurt Deimer and his band took the stage around 7:45 and gave a great shout-out to our military and first responders before playing “Hero”. They also got some big applause for their version of “Have a Cigar” by Pink Floyd.

The crowd was electric when the house lights went down and Tesla took the stage around 9. Maybe it was an ode to Motor City Casino (where Sound Board is located) because they opened with “Lady Luck” followed by fan favorite “Modern Day Cowboy”. The band sounded great and lead singer Jeff Keith was hitting all of the notes. The boys packed their hour and a half set with many hits.
