A Day To Remember brought ‘The Least Anticipated Album Tour’ to Baltimore, MD this past Tuesday night. The Chesapeake Employers Insurance was home to the concert at this stop. The venue was extremely massive and bursting at the seams with fans of all ages, eager to see them and supporting bands Pain of Truth, Four Years Strong, and The Story So Far.
The New Yorkers, Pain of Truth took to the stage first. This quintet is a straight-up hardcore rock band with a great energy on stage. Though the crowd seemed unfamiliar with many of their songs, it didn’t stop them from enjoying the set, and the band undoubtedly helped to kick the evening off with a bang.
Four Years Strong was up next. They immediately captivated the crowd, with crowd surfing and gigantic circle pits going by the second song. Most of what was played was from 2020’s Brain Pain, the band’s most recent album. They completed their 8 song set with the confidence you’d expect from a headliner.
Next up was The Story So Far. The pop-punk veterans were greeted by the loud screams right out of the gate. Lead singer Parker Cannon took time to speak at various points about the making of some of their albums. Their 14-song set ended with fan favorite, “Nerve!”
Finally, A Day To Remember took to the stage with the Rocky theme song playing throughout the venue, hyping up the crowd for what was to come. The night started off strong with one of their older hits, “Sticks & Bricks.” Lots of fan favorites popped up on their 23-song setlist such as, “I’m Made of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made Of?,” “Have Faith in Me,” and the “Since U Been Gone,” the Kelly Clarkson cover. Lead singer, Jeremy McKinnon, commended the venue security for working hard and keeping everyone safe for the night. Everything from co2 confetti canons, smoke, and lights made this show a memorable night for everyone in attendance.
