Baltimore, MD – On a cool, breezy Saturday night, Taking Back Sunday stopped by Rams Head Live!, for their 2024 North American Tour. The band just released their first album, 152, in seven years. As soon as doors opened to the venue, droves of fans young and old, entered the building.

Starting off the night of pop-rock music was the band, Citizen.  With the almost sold-out room of people, it didn’t take much to get the room more hyped than they already were. The Ohio based band played such has “Lay Low” and ”Blue Sunday.” The moment “The Night I Drove Alone” was played; it had the crowd singing along with the lead singer, Mat. They were rocking so hard that the amp was bouncing on the stage. Citizen left the crowd in awe with their electrifying performance with a powerful and enjoyable 10 song set.

As the house lights dimmed and the chatter of the crowd faded into a hush, the stage came to life with a burst of energy that could only mean one thing: Taking Back Sunday had arrived.  To start their set, Taking Back Sunday, opened with their song “S’Old” from their latest album, 152.

The first few songs were non-stop action until about halfway through the set when lead singer, Adam, took a moment to address the crowd. He thanked everyone for coming out on a Saturday night and introduced his band mates. Guitarist, John, let everyone know he also was from Baltimore and the Baltimorean crowd cheered with excitement and felt home town pride.

Throughout the night, Adam’s energy was relentless. He moved from side to side of the stage and up and down steps. The set list then continued with newer hits, “Amphetamine” and fan many older fan favorite such as “A Decade Under The Influence,” You’re So Last Summer,” and “You’re So Last Summer.’
