Knoxville, TN — The iconic Canadian band, Theory of a Deadman set to play at the Tennessee Theatre on November 19th with support from Escape the Fate and Cory Marks. Theory first announced their Unplugged tour back in September with shows from October to the end of November, sweeping the nation with special guests such as 10 Years, Citizen Soldier, and Adelitas Way. Tennessee Theatre first opened their doors way back in 1928 and has hailed as one of the most beautiful theatres of the south. The nonprofit has been working on expanding, creating new wings for theatre education, classes, and including another bar.

Cory Marks, a country/rock & roll fusion artist, kicked off the night setting the tone of the night on the beautiful stage. While Cory played his biggest songs like Outlaws & Outsiders and Devil’s Grin, he also talked a little bit about his time before the show. He visited the Young Williams Animal Center, shouting out the shelter and the work they do to help over 11,000 pets.

Escape the Fate, a post hardcore band from Las Vegas, just finished their world tour to come back to the U.S. to join as support for the unplugged tour. Escape the Fate played their usual lineup but replacing electric guitars with acoustics.

Finally, Theory took the stage with a huge set make over. The set design was pulled from personal items from each of the band members houses to create something that looked with a suburb home. Lead singer, Tyler Connolly took over center stage with attitude and swager of Elvis. Even though Theory played an acoustic set, the energy and excitement of the crowd and vibes made it feel like it was a regular show.
