Bigfoot hands Gabriela Bee a kazoo and rubber chicken for the Final Countdown. Quite literally. To an impressive cover of the popular Europe song she weilds both “instruments” backed by her two bandmates sitting on the stage behind her. It’s quite the introduction to an artist many haven’t heard of before. She’s only just released her first song this past year. She’s best known as a member of the Canadian Eh Bee family, with a couple family friendly video channels. She’s also 13 though you’d never be able to tell by the power of her voice. She’s definitely one to look out for in the future.

Walk off the Earth’s affinity for fun videos and it really shows during their introduction. We’re treated to a “live” stream of them back in their green room as they find out that they’re in the wrong city. We’re then treated to an impressively well choreographed car chase through downtown Atlanta until they triumphantly arrive a few minutes later on stage to a wall of fog overflowing in front of them. A WOTE concert is as much about the theatrics and dancing as it is the music as evidenced by the array of equipment lining in wait at the front of the stage along with giant bottles of CO2. They jump right in with an original song off their new album, Fire in my Soul and the crowd doesn’t stop moving. The night is filled with balloons falling from the ceiling, confetti cannons, noodle men, and so much more. They throw guitars around the stage, all caught by a very talented stage hand, swapping constantly between instruments, many homemade. One highlight was them all gathering at one table with a massive array of instruments including an eight foot long four position kazoo for a mashup of eight different popular songs.
