The House of Blues of Orlando hosted a sold out concert with rock sensations Yellowcard, New Found Glory and Tigers Jaw on October 16th. The indie rock band from Scranton, PA Tigers Jaw, opened the show with a spectacular performance that got the crowd hyped quickly.
Following them, the pop punk band from Coral Springs, FL, New Found Glory, took the stage with an unforgettable performance. Lead singer, Jordan Pudnik made his way all over the stage; during their second song, he jumped off onto the barricades and joined the audience. This move brought lots of excitement to the audience as many began to crowd surf. Pudnik shared his microphone with them as they were belting out the lyrics to the song with him but New Found Glory’s engagement with the crowd did not stop there!
Halfway through their performance, they call out a super fan, Noah, that has been to many of their concerts, always jamming along to their songs. To show their appreciation for him, they bring him up on stage to pick one of the New Found Glory songs that were not on the set list to be played. He chose “So Many Ways” and remained on the stage with the band while they performed, interacting with Pudnik and getting a taste of what it is like to be a rockstar!
Confetti blasts from the stage onto the audience as their set finishes, keeping everyone satisfied yet pumped for the next and final performers.
Headlining the show, Yellowcard takes the stage last. Performing songs from their new album “Lift A Sail” was definitely a treat for all. Yellowcard wrapped up the concert with their world-famous, most popular song named “Ocean Avenue” from their 2003 album named “Ocean Avenue”. Taking the audience back to 2003 with a sense of throwbacks and sweet nostalgia was definitely the icing on the cake.
