An opportunity to lose yourself in the intelligent, moody musical stories of the immortal greats- Pink Floyd. Highly influential to modern prog rock, Pink Floyd’s humble experimental beginnings in the late 1960’s lay the ground work and set the standard to which very few bands today can match. Paying tribute to these musicians, The Machine played at The NorVa on Saturday night to a large, enraptured and appreciative audience of both old fans and young.
Enhanced by a colorful laser light show, singer/guitarist Joe Pascarell, keyboardist Scott Chasolen, bassist Ryan Ball and drummer Tahrah Cohen played a solid concert that included a mix of Floyd hits, some improvisation, and a second set featuring the entire album of “Wish You Were Here”. It takes true musical talent, a deep knowledge and confidence to dare to make musical tribute of a band that has been hailed as one of the “Ten Best Rock Bands of all Time”. The Machine made it look effortless.
Take that opportunity; see The Machine on tour in your area and hear the Floyd experience for yourself.
