NORFOLK, VA — Another post-hardcore line up rocked the NorVa, this time led by New Jersey’s Senses Fail. Celebrating their fifteenth anniversary with a tour titled “Quince Años”, they were joined by Like Pacific, Counterparts, and Movements.

The crowd was slow to fill on this weeknight but by the time Senses Fail took the stage, it was evident that there was a lot of love from fans who turned out to show support for a favored band. Featuring the album “Still Searching” in it’s entirety, the dramatically lit show enthralled concert goers while original lead singer James “Buddy” Nielson kept the energy pumped up with jumps, mic tosses, and sharing inspirations with his audience. Like Pacific and Movements kept a similar sound (hardcore), while Counterparts was a decidedly harder, almost punk-ish or thrash metal influenced feel.
