New York club music arrived in Norfolk, and had the audience grooving on the dance floor all night.

The evening opened with the enthusiastic jams of DJ LP Giobbi, who personally made sure the music kept flowing without pause the entire show, seamless and upbeat. Progressing into Crush Club‘s performance with musicians jumping on and off the stage to collaborate on each other’s sets, this trio from NYC brought sexy into the house with danceable beats and coordinated moves and grooves.

Headliner Sofi Tukker, featuring ethereal beauty Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern, have been generating some notable buzz considering their relative newness to the scene. Skyrocketing into the spotlight with Apple’s use of their catchy tune “Best Friend”, they also have garnered a Grammy nomination for “Drinkee”. With music inspired by global influences, notably with the use of incorporating Portuguese language into lyrics and utilizing an array of south american traditional instruments in conjunction with modern synth affects, Sofi Tukker kept the crowd engaged and dancing to tunes from their debut album, Treehouse.

The fall tour is winding to a close with dates in the southern United States and some key festivals on schedule. To keep track of this promising group, check their website here:
