Cincinnati, OH – What an exciting night for Cincinnati rock and metal fans! Hellyeah was performing the second stop of their Celebration Of Life Tour to a large crowd of “Hellions” feeding their metal cravings since large scale touring took a break after drummer and co-founder Vinnie Paul passed away last summer. Touring with Hellyeah are Nonpoint and DEEPFALL.
DEEPFALL is a hard rock band from Michigan, and opened the evening in genuine and pure rock style. This six-member band puts on a whirlwind performance, with blazing, complex instrumentals from guitarists Max Carrillo and Anthony Battista, bassist Taylor Brandt, drummer Nick Gray and keyboardist Tim King. With Rick Hopkins on lead vocals, the musical portion of the experience was complete, but the visual component was equally exciting. These guys move on stage, which adds a furious visual layer of entertainment to their live performance.
The band played a number of originals from their CD, Broken, including “I’m Sick,” “Monster” and “Wasted.” They also performed a well-received and high-octane cover of Journey’s “Separate Ways.”
The band continues to tour with Hellyeah. Check their website for upcoming tour dates: https://deepfallband.com.
